With Geocities sadly not being able to host us any more, I will be moving all site content over to our new domain hosting! We have a whole TEN MEGS of space to use as we want which is exciting! There will be images, and perhaps even an animated gif or two!!!
Now on to the serious note. This is a site to remember Asylum Rock, its residents and what happened there. As you know, the quarantine is still in effect after the events in the 1950s and formerly in the 1930s however I will try and get photos up and posted again so we can relive its strange beauty and talk again about its myteries.
My grandmother, I think, visited the islands in the 1950s when she was working with the police force in Lewis. She didn’t talk too much about it when I was around but I think she found it a very…strange and atmospheric place? She also explored Pandoa’s Rock – I know we didnt really discuss that on the Geocities page.
